About the Artist

Howdy Hey!

Crawling out of the wetlands of central California, Savannah Rose is an illustrator currently residing in Savannah GA. They're known by the handle “sacredrot” on social media, where they’ve had a minor but loyal following for nearly a decade. Currently hard at work, they're soon to graduate with a BFA in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design. With passions deep rooted in concept development and character design, they aim to draw forth ideas;to give written concepts visualization that stand out from the crowd. Describing their style as “folk horror”, they bring a tone mythological, unsettling, and ultimately feminine themes to all their work. When not working digitally, they can be found painting, sewing, or prop making; challenging themselves with different mediums and ways to bring their vision to reality.
